holey crap.. after a long night of research on a variety of subjects... i ran into this post somewhere:

First off HUMAN milk for infants is very good and very necessary. Studies have shown that breastfeeding till 2 years gives babies better IQ, immune systems, social behaviour etc BUT and this is a very big BUT, around the age of 3 the body stops producing lactase (helps digest lactose) and rennin ('curdles' milk to make it more easily digested) which means that after this age, humans (and other animals for that matter) cannot digest milk properly.
It is common 'knowledge' that milk is good for your bones - you've probably heard that from the government, the dairy industry, on tv, your teacher, from your Mum etc but new research has found that in actual fact, milk CAUSES osteoporosis rather than preventing it. But how is this possible you ask when milk is so high in calcium? The reason being that 1. The calcium in milk isn't easily absorbed by the body and 2. because milk is so difficult to digest it causes indigestion (even if you don't feel it) and the body draws calcium out of the bones to deposit into your stomach to help neutralise the acid. The more milk consumed by a country, the higher the rate of osteoporosis - proven statistic. In countries where milk consumption is very low, osteoporosis is virtually non-existant.
That of course is just one problem. Casein, the protein in milk, is also very allergenic causing people to be more susceptible to allergies and asthma etc. It has also been linked to some forms of cancer and other diseases but they are somehwat more tentative at this point in time. If you would like to read more you can go to a site called NotMilk.com. Though they do tend to be a little zealous. After reading what I have, my family is now going dairy free and I am hoping that my daughter's severe eczema will go away (my son is badly affected by milk too and I must minimise the dairy I eat otherwise the small amounts of it that get into my milk - I breastfeed - give him bad reflux and eczema). also, read about one professor of biochemistry who started off as an evolutionist, and after his own research, realized just how wrong the theory is.. explaining cell processes as "irreducibly complex" (wow, this is a really good article! read the whole thing!):

These things haven't been explained by Darwinian theory in any journal article, and there's good reason to think that, in principle, they can't be explained by Darwinian theory.

Darwinian evolution can really explain when an organism has a slight change that might favor it—natural selection can explain that. For example, how a polar bear might have arisen from a brown bear. i was just randomly seeing what googleads has been showing on my site, and i ran into this part of my blog (which for some reason had "skulls" as the main word advertized.. which, yeah, exactly, made me think "what the who?".. and that made me start reading)
to give you some backup story.. i accepted Christ on september 6th, 2001.. on a thursday.. some days later is when i started my blog. so this blog has been basically a journal of my new life in Christ.. all the ups and the downs.. just raw me on the page.. and there was a long post about how my relationship with my dad was going.. man, those were tough times for me.. really tough.. and as i was reading i thought.. "man, i was so mature back then.. " like, unexpectedly so.. i dont know.. obviously i did a lot of stupid things back then.. a lot of stuff i couldve done differently.. but then again, i wouldnt be here today if i hadnt.. in any case.. i was reading and found this line which i thought was beautiful:

seems like i double-posted earlier (ill delete it in a while).. but in response to that, holey.. i never would have thought this about firefox.. but... swiftfox (firefox compiled for athlons.. (theres also for p4s.. )) is clocking lower than moz!!!! yep, a sweet 4.3 and staying under 5.. man.. i definitely recommed getting swiftfox!! it still has a few of the annoyances of firefox.. but man.. it renders soo much faster! ill run it for a while and then let you know how the memory footprint is..

hey, have you guys hear the whole "God doesnt exist, because if He did, He would not be able to create an unstoppable force and an immovable object.." or something along those lines.. the point of the argument is to say that you cant have both and unstoppable force and an immovable object.. well, the other day while i was running around at 1am at school in the cold, i thought, "wait a minute, yes you can!" the whole point of an unstoppable force, is that it cannot be stopped, and the whole point of the immovable object is that it cannot be moved.. well.. think about it.. if they never cross paths, this is a very very possible thing now.. why? because the immovable object would never encounter the unstoppable force!!!! man, such a simple and sweet solution.. to such a dumb fallacious semantically challenged logic proposition.. (in less big words.. to such a dumb argument)
however, what if you run into the whole "ah well, if God exists, and He can do anything, then He would not be able to create an object He cannot move." again.. semantics.. Is God limited? actually, yes. (at this point my muslim readers begin throwing stuff at their screen) what is God's limit? His will.. God cannot do what God doesnt will to do. (theres a difference between "willing" to do, and "wanting to do" i can eat something i dont want to eat, but i still am making the decision to eat.. get it?) God cannot be, and not be at the same time.. He cannot go against His own nature.. that is God's limit.. (whoa, that reminded me of "bloodline limits".. but thats another post..)
so, if God is limited by His will alone (and the no self-contradiction rule of propositional logic) then how does this affect that argument? well.. God can create a stone that He can move.. but does not will to move.. hahha.. see? He can and He can't both at the same time.. its not physically impossible for Him to move it, but it is something He cant do while He doesnt will it.. ah yes, i have been leaving the fax on lately havent i?

oh man, i just remembered one of my dreams from yesterday.. ill type up part of it before i forget..
i was in some building that might have been or looked like a really empty clothing or dept store.. and there was a ladder going up to the ceiling.. which was a bit higher than normal, and i went up it, where it led to a trap door.. which i went into.. the door was to a (holey crap! i just remembered a really messed up part of my dream! ahhh!) penthouse apt on the roof of the building, but it was very small and had a lot of window area (not a lot of walls) and there were really fancy couches and a fireplace (it was really fancy and weird.. is all i can say) and then i remember feeling like there was a ghost there or something, and then i saw a helicopter or something out a window, which i was trying to avoid being seen by it.. and some people on the roof.. cant really explain well cuz it was like they faded in and out of existance from the dream.. then, i was crawling about on the floor and i seemed to see a weird either mummified or i dont know what it was body.. on the floor.. it was like there had been a pool of blood, and there were legs, right next to the couch.. holey crap, it was soo weird.. and i kept wondering if the person was alive, actually, in the dream it was a girl.. and apparently, i knew the girl, but it was perhaps a year since she had either been missing or dead.. and i wasnt sure if she was dead or not.. but i do remember that she was a white girl probably brunette or black hair.. not blonde.. but yeah.. there she was, and i kept thinking how messed up that was, and i was sort of hesitant about touching her foot to see if she was alive.. her feet had socks on.. and if memory serves me, they were red (or brown) socks.. man.. and then those people who had been on the roof, i now began to realize might have had something to do with it.. and i remember they were of eastern european descent.. most likely russian.. holey moley.. and ive had this dream before too.. but it was sort of different.. and i think not so detailed.. man.. my dreams are sooo messed up!.. holey..

Here is what I have learned about being a Christian in the 4 years that I have been one:
The first thing, I guess I already knew since I was able to talk. "Nobody's perfect", we've all done something bad at some point in our life. The bible says that those bad things that we do are called "sins". Just a fancy way of saying it, I guess. The bible also says that God loves us. Yeah, just the way we are, sins and all. However, the bible also says that it is this sin that prevents us from having a personal relationship with Him. It's sort of like trying to hear your best friend through a concrete wall. But He loves us, so He wants to knock that wall down. And this is where it gets violent. The bible says that the penalty for sin is death. (This comes all the way from the oldest books of the bible.) But He loves us, and He said "Instead of you guys having to die, here, I'll go down and do it myself." So, since He is God and He can do anything, He took on flesh and became a human, just like you and me, except He never sinned. And then He got up on a cross (it's a bit more dramatic than that) and died for all of us. Yeah, nobody killed Him, not the Jews, not the Romans, nobody, He gave it up of His own free will, out of love, because He loves us. By dying, it means that He paid the price for our sins. Then He resurrected on the third day, which was not too common those days (or at all), and went back up to Heaven. So, the bible says that now He offers us what He did as a gift (with a hefty price tag), that we can either accept or reject, but it's a personal decision we must make of our own free will (that means nobody can force anybody else to do so). It says that it brings with it a responsibility and that the way we accept it is by recognizing what he did: firstly, trusting only in what He did, and trusting that it was enough, and that there is nothing we can do to earn it (it's a gift, if we could earn it, then it would be a prize), and by repenting (which is another one of those fancy words that just means to change your ways from bad to good). Yeah, pretty simple. But for some reason, this has changed my entire life. It doesn't mean that bad stuff doesn't happen to me anymore (and if you know me, you know my life is full of insane experiences) but rather, it just means that I know I have a loving God behind me, taking care of me, no matter what. And, I don't know, it feels pretty good to know that.
