(screenshots) get the kororaa livecd here, burn it, leave it in your tray and reset your computer. if you can boot from a cd (and have an opengl capable card), you should have linux kickin' it xgl style.. setting up internet wasnt automatic for me tho.. i had to do "modprobe forcedeth" (i have an nvidia chipset) as root in a terminal.. but after that.. everything worked! and ohhhhh MAN is it kewl!!!!!! ok, for those of you not "in the know".. on saturday, we signed the official civil papers that declare us as married according to the government!!!! woooo! however, to make it clear, we dont consider ourselves married, so no cherries will be being popped anytime soon..
the ceremony (aka signage) was very nice, joelie was there as one of the witnesses (on my behalf) and ana cecilia (aka "cessy poo".. yes, you may call her that.. hehe) was the other witness, on behalf of my lemon pie (its her new nickname, cuz shes sweet, and yellow.. aww) and we were there and the pastor gave a little message on love.. and oh yeah, sandia's mom and brother were there too, and then the pastor tried to underhandedly marry us.. (we are going to do the actual ceremony by God on July the 29th.. this was just so we could get all the paperwork out of the way) haha but man, we one-upped him in not bringing the rings.. haha.. it was really funny.. then we signed the papers, and had some pastries, and holey, the most delicious cake.. and some tea.. (the "others" had coffee.. haha) and then the witnesses and the bride and groom went to a really nice park and took some photos.. it was really great.. lots of fun pics.. and that was our day.. and now, just waiting for the wedding at the beach!
